Mr. Martinez has served as COO and Partner at Alexander Corporate Finance since November 2015.
Previously from 2013 to 2015, Mr. Martinez worked in partnership with Acf and IVIX Value Creation on numerous turnaround projects, M&A transactions and financial advisory matters.
Mr. Martinez has over twenty years of experience in the financial sector. He worked for ten years at Grupo Icatu, initially in the areas of macroeconomic analysis and asset management at Banco Icatu and Icatu Investmentos, and later as Director of Pension and Investment Products of Icatu Seguros.
In addition, Mr. Martinez served in other roles in the Financial Planning area (at Vale and at the financial restructuring of Globopar) and the Investor Relations area (at Net Serviços and MZ Consult, where he was Director of consulting services).
Mr. Martinez graduated in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and holds the title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), from the CFA Institute. He also completed an MBA in Marketing from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro (FGV-Rio) and the exam for Certified Financial Planner, from Instituto Brasileiro de Certificação de Profissionais Financeiros (IBCPF).
